Black Beck

Black Beck is the main inflow of Esthwaite Water. It draws water from several tributary becks in the Hawkshead area, before flowing into the most northerly part of the lake by the North Fen National Nature Reserve. It is here that the small tarn Priest Pot is located; a wetland area protected by Site of Special Scientific Interest status.
