This is very simple link to show a what3words address on any part of a page, even inside tables and part of image captions.
Usage
This links directly to the what3words service, which opens their map. All that is required is to copy and paste the three word address into the following syntax: {{w3w|float= |padding= |address= }} or {{w3w| | | }}
Examples
The three words address for the Ullswater Information centre is fruits.scare.clays
The float
and padding
parameters are not essential for use. They can, however, be useful for positioning the link specific to other elements on the page. Padding numbers work in a clockwise direction and can use px or em values. For example, 0 15px 20px 0
has a padding value of 0 (top), 15px (right), 20px (bottom), 0 (left). Zeroes do not require px or em values. If using padding, make sure to adjust these based on which side the link is floating.
Without float and padding parameters
{{w3w|address=fruits.scare.clays}}
Without float parameter
{{w3w|padding=0 15px 20px 0|address=fruits.scare.clays}}
Using float=left parameter
{{w3w|float=left|padding=0 20px 15px 0|address=fruits.scare.clays}}
Using float=right parameter
{{w3w|float=right|padding=0 0 15px 15px|address=fruits.scare.clays}}
