Template documentation

{{Day}} is the article lead for the pages 1 January through 31 December, but is not used on 29 February. The template is not supposed to be a countdown clock for the current year, but rather should be a consistent lead that produces the same output regardless of the current year.

The above documentation is transcluded from Template:Day/doc.
