Titled "[[Bowder Stone|The Bowder Stone]]", this postcard shows the boulder from the north looking south. There are no people visible in this view, however, there is chimney smoke from Bowderstone Cottage. There is also a bike propped up behind a rock to the right of the image. There are leaves on the trees behind the cottage and the bracken is in growth, so we can deduce this was taken sometime during the summer months.

Summary

A sepia postcard from the Judges series produced by Judges Postcards, based in Hastings between 1910 and 1984. The postcard is used, with a 2D stamp on, dated with what looks like 18 Au 43, although the handwritten date shows 17/8/4.
