Line 3: \|photo-summary = The majestic [[Derwentwater]] with fine views of the surrounding fells, including [[Walla Crag]] (376m) centre-left. This photo was taken from the well-known and much-walked [[Friar's Crag]]. This little promontory sticks out just enough to command superb views across the lake and on clear days will furnish the viewer with incredible reflections from the fells. There is a ~~curved~~ bench here to enjoy the views and take a moment to appreciate just how beautiful the scenery is ~~here~~. Even on grey days when the weather is unpredictable, the ever-changing light and cloud cover can change the view dramatically.
