The slate shingle beach runs parallel with the path after the farmhouse offering amazing views of the entire western and southern part of the lake. At the right of this photo, the southern tip of [[Lord's Island]] can be seen. Centre-left is [[St Herbert's Island]] and left is [[Rampsholme Island]].
