|description = A fallen/felled tree at [[Colwith Force]] with embedded coin offerings or wishes. This is a widespread sight across the Lake District and other National Parks across the UK, which some believe are damaging to the environment, especially if these are embedded into living trees. Chemical are leached out over time and can have adverse effects to the organisms living in the dead trees.
Photo taken from the northern aspect of Atkinson's Coppice.
