Parrock Quarry is a disused green slate quarry where nature has taken over since mining operations ceased. Today, it provides access to Hodge Close Quarry with spectacular views across the flooded area, which provides a technical underwater space for divers to explore the tunnels deep below the surface. Both quarries are used by rock climbers and abseilers. It is a very popular spot for walkers en route to other locations nearby. There is a small car park with limited parking.
